Question on MSDE2000A - SETUP.EXE

Please help,
I have a question on MSDE2000A's setup.exe. In running the setup.exe /?, it brings up a screen saying that it has an option called: "Display", which can be set to to things like [no | basic | reduce][completion notice] UI: /q[n|b|r][+]. But I can not fi
nd documentation for what these values mean. There is also an option called "Apply patch:" which has options of /p SQLRUN | <patch package name>. Does anyoneknow how these work?
The switches that are supported with the MSDE 2000 setup are documented in

The topic has this note for the description of the /? switch:
Important Because setup displays more options than it accepts, use only the
options documented in this topic.
Since MSDE 2000 setup is based on Windows installer technology, the
setup.exe does take switches beyond those documented in the topic. However,
the MSDE 2000 setup test team does not test MSDE setup using those other
switches, so they may not always work correctly for MSDE installations.
