Question on an unuall issue in SQL reporting Service

There is a developer here running a report using SQL reporting services, It
is a fairly large report and it seems to run fine, But when he tries to
export it to a CSV or EXCEL, it runs for two minutes then brings up an
authentication window, After he inputs his credentials it runs approx another
two minutes then wants him to re-authenticate, after the third instance of
this it fails and will not export. However if he tries to export a smaller
file, it works Okay. One caviat, I recieve an Event ID:10016 around the same
time and it says something about The COM not having a required permission, is
this a factor in my issue?

It sounds like it. Normally, once a datasource has been set up for a
report, there is no further authentication necessary. Also, I myself
have never seen this occur when exporting to any format w/Reporting
Services (and I don't utilize COM objects in the process).
