Question on SQL Installation

Hello,

Is it possible to install "SQL 2000 Server 1CPU" on a dual processor machine
and make SQL use only one CPU?

Yes. Look at affinity mask.

Note however this does NOT allow you to purchase just one CPU license if you
go that route for licensing.
