Question to Microsoft: Is this group moderated?

If it is, then what is the criteria for determining whether a post stays or
goes?
I ask because I posted a question on Thursday March 30 and I don't see it in
the list. I thought it was appropriate for this group.

It's not moderated. What was the subject of the post? A quick search in
Outlook Express pulls up one posted by you with the subject "How do I get
just one set?" and a reply from Joe Celko, is that the one? How are you
accessing the group? I use NNTP access direct to msnews.microsoft.com - if
you are relying on a feed via another usenet provider it's possible their
server is dropping posts (either randomly or intentionally).

Not moderated and not owned by MS either. This is a public newsgroup.
Is this the question you mean?

You have an answer. I don't know if it helps. If you need more or if
you don't see your post in the archive (http://groups.google.com) then
post again.
It helps if you can include enough code to reproduce your problem. For
that type of question that means CREATE TABLE, some INSERTs for some
sample data and then show what end result you expect from that sample.
David Portas, SQL Server MVP
Whenever possible please post enough code to reproduce your problem.
Including CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements usually helps.
State what version of SQL Server you are using and specify the content
of any error messages.

For a more reliable experience, be sure to post using msnews.microsoft.com,
and not your local news server's feed or the web interface to the forums.
If you post and read using msnews.microsoft.com, you don't have to worry
about your own news server's ability to keep up with the real server (since
they basically borrow the content) and you don't have to worry about
Microsoft's ability to keep the NNTP forum and the web interface in sync
(which has a track record that's spotty at best).
